LeBrew 64mm Series Flat Burrs
Professional-grade 64 mm flat burrs engineered for clarity, sweetness, and consistency. DC53 tool steel, TiAlN coating, 60–62 HRC hardness, and precision 5-axis grinding deliver long life (up to 1,500–2,000 kg) and reliably uniform particle distributions—optimized in three profiles: Espresso, LeBrew Sweet, and Filter.
Why upgrade to LeBrew 64mm
- Premium materials & heat treatment: DC53 (Cr8Mo2SiV) tool steel, hardened to 60–62 HRC, tempered 3× after heating to ≈1040 °C for dimensional stability and wear resistance.
- Reinforced TiAlN coating: ~3 µm conductive coating, ≈3000 HV microhardness, stable to ≈800 °C—extends sharpness and resists heat, corrosion, and fatigue.
- Long service life: Rated for ~1,500–2,000 kg of coffee.
- Precision manufacturing: Full-grind machining with imported 5-axis equipment; parallelism and dimensional checks; CAMSIZER X2 particle analysis to validate size & shape distribution.
- Dialed-in flavor options: Three geometries tuned for brew method and taste—Espresso (body/structure), LeBrew Sweet (rounded sweetness, finish), Filter (clarity/clean cup).

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What's the difference between the Espresso, Sweet, and Filter burrs?
The geometry is the only thing that changes. Espresso burrs cut a fine, even particle with structure and body for shots. LeBrew Sweet burrs sit between espresso and filter — the rounded all-rounder, with sweetness and silky body. Filter burrs cut a cleaner, more uniform particle for pour-over and batch brew, with high clarity and minimal fines.
Will the LeBrew 64mm burrs fit my grinder?
They fit most 64 mm flat-burr grinders, including DF64 (V/E/N), Timemore Sculptor 064S, Fellow Ode v1 and v2, Ultimate HB64, Mazzer Super Jolly, Eureka Single Dose Brew, Lagom P64, Acaia Orbit, and many Fiorenzato models. Full list above. If your grinder isn't named, message us before you order.
How long do LeBrew 64mm burrs last?
Rated for 1,500 to 2,000 kg of coffee. For a home setup grinding 30 g a day, that's well over a decade before the edge degrades. Café throughput will burn through them faster, but they're sharp the whole way down rather than dropping off a cliff.
Do LeBrew Sweet burrs really work for both espresso and filter?
Yes. They're the closest thing in this set to a true single-grinder burr. You'll get a silky, sweet shot and a clean enough filter cup to keep most drinkers happy. If you primarily brew one method and care about peak performance, the dedicated Espresso or Filter burrs will outperform Sweet at that one job.
How do LeBrew burrs compare to SSP?
SSP burrs sit at the top of the aftermarket flat-burr market and cost more. LeBrew is positioned a tier below: similar engineering principles (DC53 steel, conductive coating, modern CNC), measurable improvement over stock burrs, and noticeably more affordable. Most people who upgrade from stock 64 mm burrs to LeBrew hear the change immediately.
Do I need to season the burrs before they taste right?
Plan on around 1–2 kg of coffee through them before they fully settle. The first few sessions will pull slightly differently as residual machining particles clear and the coating polishes through use. Keep a wider grind range during dial-in for the first few days.
Can I install them myself?
If you've taken your grinder apart before to clean it, yes. The burrs ship as a matched set, both sides drop into the carriers your stock burrs came out of. Follow your grinder manufacturer's disassembly guide and re-zero the grinder after install. If you'd rather have it done, we can recommend service partners in the EU.
